Muradiye Waterfall

Muradiye waterfall is the source of the mountain Tendürek.The name of Muradiye comes from 4. Murat, king of Ottomans.He came and stayed near the waterfall during Baghdad wars.




Muradiye waterfall, is 8 km away from Muradiye, 80 km away from Van. Waterfall is poured from a height of 50 meters.It has very majestic image.

When you get to the bottom of the waterfall,you feel the coolnessIn spring, you can see differen colours of flowers. This view is suitable for taking pictures. In winter, waterfalls water freezes.

To see the waterfall,you have to walk across a suspension bridge. If you want excitement, you can go in crowded time.


You can visit the waterfall when you go to Doğubeyazıt, İshakpaşa Palace.The waterfall is on your way.
